About Me
Hi peeps, welcome to my corner! I’m Martha, a Registered Nutritionist* who has been practising for several years, supporting clients to achieve their goals through nutritional and behavioural adaptation. I am a passionate practitioner who focused equally on enhancing human performance, holistic well-being and longevity as well as aiding clients to get the most out of their life. My practise ethos is thoroughly evidence-based, with a tiny tilt towards whole-food plant-based nutrition – I am vegetarian myself and believe a balance plant-centric (although not necessarily exclusive) dietary pattern is generally the best practice.
My approach is never to restrict clients, but empower them with knowledge and confidence and work collaboratively towards the best solution. I believe that a well-balanced diet is about embracing a variety of wholesome ingredients that nourish both the body and mind. Food is an integral part of my life – whether it’s a fancy meal or my childhood snacks, I like to EAT. My appreciation for food runs far beyond its nutritional value, and it really brings immense joy to my life – probably why I’m eating all the time!
When I’m not working with clients, you can find me lifting weights at the gym or at home lounging around on the bed with the dog. I’m an adventurer by nature (I can be a princess too sometimes!), hiking and camping when the weather is good, skiing and surfing when I get a chance, and exploring the depths of Netflix when it isn’t. My partner and I enjoy traveling abroad, and, to nobody’s surprise, eating all the delectable delights other culinary cultures have to offer as you can see through my Instagram posts! We support a greener approach to eating in general and also review our eating experiences on Happy Cow.
I currently reside in Australia and speak a few languages, with primary fluency in Indonesian and English. I am proud to say that this skill allows me to connect with a diverse range of clients. Therefore, I am happy to work with all types of clients. For my Indonesian friends, despite the distance I am still fully accessible thanks to the wonders of technology!
So, if you read this and have quick questions, or want to embark on something more comprehensive – feel free to reach out! Simply fill out the form and we can begin this journey together!
*in Indonesia, Registered Nutritionist is bachelor’s qualified and recognised by KTKI. This is broadly equivalent in Australia to Accredited Practising Dietitian recognition provided by DAA.
